Description

In a war-torn world of elemental magic, a young boy reawakens to undertake a dangerous mystic quest to fulfill his destiny as the Avatar, and bring peace to the world.
Avatar is set in an Asiatic-inspired world in which some people can telekinetically manipulate one of the four elements—water, earth, fire or air—through practices known as “bending”, inspired by Chinese martial arts. The only individual who can bend all four elements, the “Avatar”, is responsible for maintaining harmony among the world’s four nations, and serves as the link between the physical world and the spirit world. The series is centered around the journey of twelve-year-old Aang, the current Avatar and last survivor of his nation, the Air Nomads, along with his friends Katara, Sokka, and Toph, as they strive to end the Fire Nation’s war against the other nations and defeat Fire Lord Ozai before he conquers the world.
“’Avatar: The Last Airbender’ is one of the greatest TV shows ever made.” – VOX
“Every once in a while, a movie, TV series, book, or stage show comes along that sets public imagination aflame, and, under the right circumstances, becomes a cultural phenomenon. It has proven true with such properties as Harry Potter, Star Wars, and The Lion King, and it’s equally true in the case of Avatar: The Last Airbender.” – Rotoscopers
“A show so good, it puts prestige dramas, expensive streaming series, and wry comedies to shame. If there was ever a show built to be watched again and again, it’s this delightful gem of a series—bright and balanced and full of hope, just like Aang himself.” – Vanity Fair
