The heir to a family-run company, is abducted, and the ransom is the legendary blue diamond.

Hideki Sato, the successor CEO of an old, family owned chemical company, is kidnapped. The kidnapper demands the diamond, “Tear of Florence”, as a ransom. CEO Zenichiro, who is Hideki’s father, and Vice President Yujiro, who is Hideki’s uncle, do not accept the kidnapper’s demand.

The kidnaper is Tsuyoshi Makiba. He works as CEO Zenichiro’s secretary. Tsuyoshi is shocked that CEO Zenichiro will not agree to his ransom demand. Meanwhile, CEO Zenichiro succumbs to a disease. Vice President Yujiro uses this situation to start a plan to seize the company. This triggers a tsunami of events and brings to light the mysterious past of the “Tear of Florence.”  Tsuyoshi Makiba planned the kidnapping for revenge – his mother killed herself because of this diamond…
