Description
Devastated by his daughter’s suicide, an immigrant entrepreneur seeks answers to his lingering questions.
Indian American entrepreneur Neal Kumar and his family live in the high octane, technologically driven culture that is Silicon Valley. His affluent lifestyle appears idyllic, however, when his daughter Maya tragically commits suicide, the fractured nature of his life becomes apparent to himself and everyone around him. As the primary officer of a tech company, Neal is used to finding solutions but now it seems that he can’t figure out why Maya killed herself. She didn’t kill herself because she was molested at a party (which she was). She didn’t kill herself because she got a D on an exam (which she did). She didn’t kill herself because she was lonely. Maya suffered from something and the signs were there but Maya’s family didn’t recognize them…
