Description

After being sent to the electric chair, a serial killer uses electricity to come back from the dead and carry out his vengeance on the football player who turned him in to the police.
Being captured for a series of gruesome murders, Horace Pinker, a television repairman, faces execution by the electric chair – but a deal with the devil allows him to come back as electricity. Once he changes into his new form, Pinker goes after the detective that brought him down, Lt. Don Parker, as well as Parker’s adopted son, Jonathan. However, Jonathan’s mysterious connection to Pinker through dreams might help track the killer’s moves.
“There’s plenty of fun to be had with this movie.” – Agents of Geek
“Wes Craven’s ‘Shocker’ is certainly one of the Master of Horror’s more oddball cult classics, an amalgam of Craven’s most ambitious ideas and a viciously wild visual style that’s far more innovative than most have given it credit for when it was first released. While the name Horace Pinker may not necessarily be as marketable as, say, Freddy Krueger, what this cinematic killer does bring to the table in terms of savagery and a darkly comedic cruelty is legendary in his own right.” – Daily Dead
“A fun, energetic entry in Craven’s oeuvre, bolstered by Pileggi’s raving performance and rife with head-banging heavy metal cuts throughout – Alice Cooper even makes a couple
of cameos, appearing on the soundtrack and in the film.”
– Dread Central
