No ship is safe, no cargo secure, no harbor a shelter in the Caribbean. For we are in the 17th century, and when galleons are sunk and merchant ships set ablaze, you can be sure that the old pirate Devil’s Tail and his fearless young companion Calamity are hauling off the bounty. Calamity meets his match when France sends the dashing young Alexandre du Bois to head the Caribbean fleet.
As they cross swords, the two men discover their true identity: they are brothers whose love turned to implacable hatred years ago after a fateful misunderstanding. Although they have each since fallen in love with beautiful young women who share their adventurous lives, the bonds between the two brothers cannot be destroyed.
The two men now face a momentous decision: will they fight each other or join forces against their common enemy, a mysterious figure in an iron mask plotting to eliminate both of them?
