Description

The raging Atlantic, imposing rock formations, and wide sandy beaches – who wouldn’t want to get married against such a backdrop?

Rebecca Taylor, who prefers to go by Becky, is a newly ordained young vicar in the Anglican Church. Before officially commencing her duties, she decides to visit the parish she has been assigned to in Cornwall. While there, she narrowly avoids colliding with an attractive bicyclist. The two quickly take a liking to each other and begin to flirt happily. But when it turns out that Adam is engaged and will soon be married to Becky, she is determined to maintain a professional distance. Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done. Is fate at play, or is there some other higher power at work? Adam’s fiancée, Emma Biningham, is happy that there’s finally a new vicar and is pushing for a quick wedding date. Becky is emotionally distancing herself from Adam, even though he seems to be having doubts about his wedding. Or is that just Becky’s wish?

Based on a short story Rosamunde Pilcher’s short story “Another View”.

“The director is Herzkino veteran Marco Serafini and his ensemble direction is generally very good. This also applies to the actors; Antonia Bill and Jeroen Engelsman are particularly worth seeing. The good dialogue is also appealing.” – Tittelbach.tv

“Socially and politically, Rosamunde Pilcher serial of film is becoming more contemporary, and with this film it is proved without a doubt.” – TV Spiel Film

“Conscious of tradition yet comparatively modern, In Seventh Heaven from the Rosamunde Pilcher series appears refreshingly young and engaging, an extremely emotional and romantic film.” – Vielleserin.de
