A police woman comes to the famous German island Sylt to relax from a traumatic event. But she falls in love with the rich neighbor though both are married. When others learn about the affair things get complicated.
The media are all over Nina, but all she wants is peace and quiet. On Sylt, she is allowed to enjoy herself in the dream villa of the prominent publisher Hedi von Carlsberg. At first, she still regrets that her husband Patrick couldn’t come along. But when chance leads her to a mysterious masked ball and she meets an intriguing stranger there, the burdens of everyday life suddenly feel far away. Although she leaves this beautiful‑and‑wealthy event early, Daniel doesn’t give up. She had said at the party that she had too little time for the good things in life; now Daniel does everything he can to change that…
