Suspected criminal seeks revenge: Nora Weiss finds herself in grave danger. Then a fatal bomb attack on a doctor rocks the city of Lübeck.

Following a protracted manhunt, Federal Police Investigator Nora Weiss is finally able to track down and arrest Karl Strasser, a suspected sex offender. However, Strasser is released again the next day due to a procedural error. At the same time, a bomb attack kills a well-respected Syrian doctor at a Lübeck hospital. Together with her colleague Simon Brandt from the local Lübeck police, Nora is faced with extreme time pressure to establish whether the killing constitutes a terror attack.
