Description

24 hours, one phone, no way out!

In this one, Anthony Peterson (Ron Thompson) is a wealthy, unscrupulous man who wakes up in a cargo container with nothing but a cell phone. His mysterious kidnappers call to inform him they also have his wife. If Ron doesn’t transfer $10 million dollars to them within 24 hours, they’ll rape & kill her and leave him to die in the container. With no idea where he is or who abducted him, Ron scrambles to gather the ransom money, relying on his assistant, Evan, to sell-off assets. This is easier said than done. Not only because he’s already borrowed on most of his properties, but Evan is a drug addict whose dangerous lifestyle make him less than reliable…

“Simply put, [Cargo] is a flat-out rad-ass thriller with a butt load of great tension, solid acting, and plot twists… get your eerie eyeballs on this pronto!” – Horror Fuel

“[Cargo] is a one-man show that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Music contributes a great deal to the success of this movie. The film’s soundtrack by Thorseten Quaeschning is often exciting and forceful.” – Indie Horror Online

“[Cargo] is quite a remarkable film: Filmed 100% inside container with only one person (Ron Thompson) on screen, and him being in almost every single shot, the whole things still stays totally interesting, tense and suspenseful throughout, thanks not only to a brilliant script that succeeds in blurring the lines between good and evil quite a bit, but also to a great performance of Thompson, and let’s not forget the very dynamic camerawork by Christopher Gosch, that often, and successfully, mimics the off-screen action we otherwise only get second hand over the phone. Quite a watch indeed!” – Dead, Buried and Back
