Description

A film about the behind-the-scenes world of Washington politics. A former staffer that has fallen from grace tries to get back in the political game but realizes “there is life above the beltway.”
Failed lobbyist Paul Gibson, a Washington insider whose lobbying career is destroyed over a viral YouTube gaffe, retires from the political scene. Now, he tries to get back in the game by outing a sitting U.S. senator for sleeping with an underage intern.
If the movie rings true, it’s because of writer and producer Jim Wareck, who spent more than a decade working in politics before penning a script loosely based on his own experiences.
“Very few films have ever captured D.C. this way; it’s an indie film that takes full advantage of the great locations. In those settings, the filmmakers made the nation’s capital a true character in their film. A quick, fun, and mildly dark comedy with some wit, charms, and finely-tuned storytelling.” – DVD Talk
“The movie is pitch perfect because it is never the sex that gets the politicians in trouble, it is always the cover-up.” – Washington Examiner
“Tate Donovan is brilliantly cast as a down-and-out lobbyist in D.C. who’s trying to make a come-back. The writing is terrific – everything ties together, and the D.C. jokes are great. All in all, a very enjoyable movie!” – Amazon.com
