Things couldn’t be going better for Julia Greenwood professionally. But things are very different in her private life. When she catches her boyfriend having an affair, she decides to banish love.

Julia catches her boyfriend in flagrante with her best friend of all people. An urgent phone call from her mother Laura comes at just the right time, and Julia makes a hasty journey to Cornwall. There is good news: Laura is marrying Lord Frederik Windshell. Julia realises that her mother is finally happy again after the death of her husband. The wedding is to take place on Frederik’s beautiful estate. Julia immediately offers to organise the big party.
