Description

A male prison escapee heads for his hidden loot electronically attached to a female prisoner.
Frank has been convicted of stealing millions of dollars in diamonds, which have not been recovered. In his unisex prison, each inmate has an unknown partner. When the two are separated by more than one hundred yards, an explosive collar kills both inmates. Frank and his female partner Tracey escape and head for the money, but they are hotly pursued by his double-crossing colleagues. Can Frank and Tracey get to the diamonds without separating from each other more than one hundred yards?
“’Wedlock’ works because it has a good cast and it was directed by Lewis Teague who has always understood how to put together a good B-movie. Rutger Hauer, James Remar, and Mimi Rogers are always enjoyable to watch no matter what they’re doing.” – Through the Shattered Lens
“The positives of the film, apart from the presence of Hauer and the other well-known protagonists, include an almost exhausting rhythm, plenty of action and several moments of humor. It’s definitely a very entertaining movie.” – B-movies (Greek)
“We are not talking about a million-dollar production in which the acting is of great importance, but about a well-developed B-movie that is certainly worth seeing. The concept is unique and the story is reasonably elaborated. The truth is that ‘Wedlock’ is one of my favorite films with Rutger Hauer who looks away easily and never gets bored.” – Filmliefhebber.com (Dutch)
