Description

From brutal hand-to-hand fight scenes to gun battles to real deal car chases, The Mongolian Connection has it all.
Working undercover on a human trafficking bust, maverick FBI agent Wade Dalton captures Serick Ibrayev, a mysterious operative from the Mongolian underworld. Wade must escort a criminal back to Mongolia in order for Serik to testify against a crime lord. Dalton’s contact in Mongolia is local cop Ganzorig, a maverick in his own right, who is dealing with mole in the police force. Bringing Serik to Mongolia will be tough, as the authorities are undermanned and the criminals want to make sure Serik doesn’t say anything to anyone. On top of that, Ganzorig isn’t totally sure that he can trust Dalton. And Dalton is unsure of the whole situation because he doesn’t know anyone in town, and he doesn’t speak the language. How the hell is this going to work out for the good guys who have to team up in order to fight a crime Syndicate that will do anything to stop them.
“Every aspect of ’The Mongolian Connection’ is top notch stuff. It’s an excellent action movie through and through. ’The Mongolian Connection’ is just too good not to be seen. And that’s what you should do. It’s definitely worth your time. I loved it, and I can’t wait to see it again.” – 411 Mania
“A standout action film. It has the look, feel and edge of a 1970s action film, with a beauty in the choreography of the action scenes. Director Drew Thomas knows his way around an action scene. This film is made with care. A very intriguing film and well-worth checking out.” – IMDb
“Very effective and fun. The choreographies of shootings, doorways and car chases are well done, staging and characterizations guarantee some dramatic density and the script even offers exotics as it places much of the action in Mongolia. In other words, director Drew Thomas delivers a very decent police film that sustains the viewer’s interest for an hour and a half.” – Anti-Dicas de Cinema
