Description

A farcical flip-flop on the detective duo of all time – Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson

Dr Watson is the inimitable “crime doctor” whose deft deductions make the most obscure clues “elementary”. Holmes is nothing more than his fanciful creation and is actually Reginald Kincaid an unknown, drunken stage actor hired to play this figment of Dr Watson’s imagination. Only slightly more incompetent is Inspector Lestrade and there is a not-so-sweet young thing who leads the heroes astray. This is Holmes and Watson as Conan Doyle never knew!

“(S)pry and quite imaginative retelling of the Conan Doyle legacy. Kingsley… brings a certain manic fervor to the proceedings. Caine is wonderfully daft. A lot of fun…” – Blu-Ray.com

“The role reversal proves to be an irresistible hook for a comedy… Without a Clue delivers on this idea, with wonderful performances by Kingsley and Caine and crackling banter by scripters Gary Murphy and Larry Strawther.” – Creative Loafing

“(U)proariously funny lampooning of Arthur Conan Doyle’s world-famous detective. Great fun.” – At A Glance Film Reviews
