As a raging wildfire consumes a border village, a journalist discovers that the ashes hide secrets that could alter her life forever.
In the border region between Galicia and northern Portugal, known as the “Dry Border” (Raia Seca), a devastating forest fire obliterates an entire village. Audacious journalist Lucía arrives on the scene to cover the catastrophe, but her professional investigation quickly takes a deeply personal turn when clues begin linking the tragedy to the dark past of her own Galician family. In her quest for the truth, Lucia finds an unexpected ally in Julio, a dedicated Portuguese police officer. Together, they begin to unravel a dangerous and complex web of real estate speculation, political maneuvering, and corruption.
This gripping Luso-Spanish co-production delivers a tense blend of investigative thriller and family mystery, where every spark threatens to expose decades of hidden conspiracies.
