Crime is a family affair.
Richie, a down-on-his-luck screw up, longs to be free of the demons of his past. When his career criminal father, Frank, receives a dementia diagnosis, Richie realizes that he is now ina race against time. In order to pay off his crushing gambling debt, he plans to exploit his father’s illegal expertise before the disease can claim Frank’s mind. While he attends a Gamblers Anonymous meeting, Richie befriends Winona, an Indigenous woman who also happens to be the bartender at the local underground casino. She indirectly inspires Richie to target the inconsiderately wealthy and their homes, where he can swipe electronics, jewelry, and prescription medication. With Frank playing getaway driver, the dynamic duo executes a series of reckless burglaries, but the fun does not last long…
